DENTAL IMPLANT ANDDENTAL MATERIAL TESTS

Dental material tests are within the scope of our laboratory’s accreditation. In order to support the R&D studies of our companies, special test methods can be determined.

The ISO 14801 test is performed to determine the fatigue strength of dental implants. ISO 18130 Test Dynamic torsion test is performed to determine the loosening of the screw used between the dental implant and the abutment. The ISO 13498 test is performed to determine the torsional strength of the dental implant.

The corrosion resistance of the dental implant is determined by the ISO 10271 test. Corrosion resistance is very important especially in dental implants. The risk of corrosion due to metal-metal combination is always present in dental implants and it is very important to keep it to a minimum.
